RECENT EVENTS:

March 28, 2026: Health Workers Rally at No Kings 3

Over 100 health workers dressed in scrubs and white coats joined the No Kings 3 rally at Colorado’s state capitol on March 28, 2026.  The rally and march demanded improvements to health care access and science-based health policies, along with changes to immigration policy, election-meddling, assaults on world peace and human rights, tax cuts for billionaires, pollution and climate change, and repressive, authoritarian actions by the Trump administration.  An estimated 8 million turned out nationwide for No Kings 3, and future protests (with scrubs and white coat brigades) will doubtless grow larger.

April 18, 2026 and June 13, 2026, OVERPASS ACTIONS:

Health Workers Speak Out gathered to inform travelers along I-25 and Rep. Gabe Evan’s (CD-8) constituents of his support for the Trump health agenda, the war, and how it hurts his district.  On 4/18 In white coats, from 10AM-noon, and 6/13 from 9-11am members drew attention from  a  pedestrian overpass crossing I-25, visible near 104th Ave. in Northglenn.

Estimated views during each time:             13, 338 and 23,000!

May 1, 2026: May Day Strong/Workers Over Billionaires

A national coalition of labor unions and community organizations called for protests, no work, no school and no shopping on International Workers Day.  The following photo was taken while joining our partner organizations for the protest.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Be an Election Protector

Are you worried about the midterms? Volunteer as an election protector.

The fraction of the electorate that votes in person may seem insignificant, but could be crucial in this election. Some Congressional districts are decided by a few hundred votes. Turnout for in-person voting may be bigger than usual because people are riled up. Long lines at the polls or voter intimidation outside the polls may be a problem. Folks are organizing to make sure that all eligible voters can vote and all votes are counted.

Trump has made it clear he intends to interfere with the elections. Though state officials have held the line against Trump interfering with voter rolls, he has said he will use the US Postal Service to interfere with mail-in voting. If mail ballots are held up by USPS, more people will be voting in person than the system is prepared for.

Gabe Evans’ Republican and Democrat constituents demand action on health care.  Show up! (Bridge action August 19)

When Congressman Gabe Evans of Colorado's 8th district voted for the Big [NOT BEAUTIFUL] Bill, HR-1 2025 that sends a trillion dollars to billionaires in exchange for Medicaid cuts and higher ACA plan premiums, did he think no one would notice?
